WHALE WATCH TOURS CAPE COD
Hyannis Whale Watch Cruises (Barnstable)
The 2017 whale watching season was truly amazing. To say the whales were plentiful — and highly entertaining — would be an understatement. Start planning now for 2018 when you can treat yourself and your family to an adventure to remember! Be sure you’re on board when their jet-powered, state of the art vessel Whale Watcher will transport you to Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary for an unforgettable encounter with the whales. The seasonal home to Humpback, Finback, Minke whales and several dolphin species, the waters around Cape Cod consistently rank as one of the world’s top 10 whale watching destinations.
Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch (Provincetown)
Dolphin Fleet Whale Watches are unique. Unlike many other whale watches, their trips offer a wide spectrum of educational tools that go beyond the “average whale watch”. All trips are designed to enhance our awareness of whales, other marine life and the marine habitat that surrounds us. Their goal is to have each passenger depart the vessels with a greater understanding and appreciation of the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary and the wealth of life it supports.
They have four vessels that depart from Provincetown harbor to the Sanctuary. Each vessel has a heated cabin for those cool days in the spring and fall months assuring comfort for each trip and air conditioned for those hot summer days. Upon boarding your vessel field guides are available in multiple languages detailing the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary and the marine life you may encounter. These guides will also explain the important role The Dolphin Fleet had in developing and being the first whale watching excursion on the east-coast of the United States.
